The aims of the Forum  were to review practical issues of international economic integration after Ukraine’s entering WTO, to define new accesses to capital market (including IPO) and provide fruitful cooperation between project initiators and potential investors. During the Forum plenary sessions and round tables participants got to know about the experience of leading developers and found the answers to the questions concerning their own projects and investment proposals.The particular attention on the forum was paid on the discussion of building of the industrial parks like Green Field and Brown Field and improving the competitiveness of the Ukrainian products.

Forum was held in the National complex “Expocenter Ukraine” on the occasion of Ukraine’s 17 Independence anniversary on 20-21 August 2008 within annual state exhibition action “Colorful Ukraine” which was held in correspondence with the Decree of the President of Ukraine. Forum participants has acquainted with Autonomous Republic of Crimea exposition, expositions from Ukrainian regions, from Kyiv, Sevastopol that showed their achievements in economic, social and cultural fields. Forum participants also took part in the ceremony “Best domestic commodity”, which was carried out during the evening banquet. The winners of this program were awarded the golden symbols.

Besides the forum speakers the guests of the Forum and the banquet were also country leaders and leaders of the central executive branch bodies, heads of each region, representatives from diplomatic body, heads of investment funds and developer companies.
